Scholarships

Investment in scholarships promotes equity and opportunity for students from all backgrounds.

Scholarship support is critical to ensuring that access to a Westminster education is not limited by one’s socioeconomic status. Endowed scholarships allow Westminster to continue offering life-changing educational experiences to deserving students in perpetuity. At Westminster, 25 percent of students are first-generation college students, and 98 percent of first-year students receive scholarship aid.

Endowed Scholarship Fund

Donating to this fund allows you to contribute to an endowment that will grow and support Westminster scholarship students forever. With no minimum donation, this scholarship giving option is a great way to maximize the value of your gift.

Please contact Advancement at 801.832.2730 to learn more.

Establish a Named Scholarship

We will work with you to create an endowed scholarship that will help deserving Westminster students in perpetuity, whether you want to honor a loved one or a favorite professor. Your gift of at least $25,000, payable over five years, will forever provide scholarships for Westminster students.

If you would like to give to a specific scholarship, please contact Kaye Stackpole: kstackpole@westminsteru.edu or 801-832-2735.

Planned Gift Scholarships

The Converse Society, Westminster’s planned giving society, honors those who have committed a gift to the college through their will or trust. You can create a scholarship through your estate, making Westminster a stronger institution and preserving the college’s culture of caring for future generations.

Please contact Kaye Stackpole at kstackpole@westminsteru.edu or 801.832.2735 to learn more.
