Community Fellowship Program | Leadership & Dumke Center
Help students prepare for their future and give back to their community by supporting the Community Fellows Program, sponsored by the Gore Giovale Center for Innovative Leadership and the Dumke Center for Civic Engagement. Community fellows are placed with local nonprofits to gain substantial and meaningful hands-on work experience for an academic year. Students gain invaluable professional and leadership development in their field of interest, while also giving back to the community by helping nonprofit organizations expand their reach and impact. Students receive monthly group and individual coaching to help them develop their professional skills and prepare for their future careers. These sessions include topics such as confidence, communication, conflict resolution, self-awareness, and inclusivity.
