The Westminster College Center for Financial Wellness
The Westminster Center for Financial Wellness works to improve the financial wellbeing of the community with resources that go beyond basic financial literacy programs. The center offers financial wellness training and resources to the Westminster College community and beyond. The center will provide students a series of workshops throughout 2021 for Legacy Scholars, Associated Students of Westminster (ASW) clubs, and other student groups to help them manage their finances and gain the most from their higher education investments. Faculty and staff will benefit from the center's programming for the local community. In addition, the high school outreach program will bring 640 students from across Utah to campus in Spring 2021 to jumpstart their financial literacy and help them prepare for a life of financial wellness.
Additionally, the Westminster Tax Clinic provides pro bono tax preparation assistance to the public. Besides tax preparation and filing, the Tax Clinic also provides tax advisory services and financial advocacy services. These initiatives will not only improve outcomes for students but will benefit the greater campus community. Gifts to the Westminster Center for Financial Wellness support financial literacy training and resources.
